Grilled Honey Plums over Ricotta

made this fantastical dessert this evening and wanted to pass on the lovin’. try it right now. even if you are reading this and it’s 2am. worth it.

inspired by this recipe from

4 sugar plums*, halved and pitted
4 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup ricotta cheese
whipped cream

1—coat plum halves in honey.
2—grill honey-coated plum halves flesh down at medium-high heat until flesh is soft and has grill marks.
3—if serving right away, melt butter in sauce pan and coat plums.
4—if serving later, do not coat in butter until you are ready to reheat and serve. melt butter in saucepan and coat plums, simmering until plums are warmed through.
5—serve atop 1/4 cup ricotta cheese, sprinkle with cinnamon and top with a dollop of whipped cream.

*(i used black catalina plums)
